Maka Marambio de la Fuente (They/them) is a queer, disabled, Latinx creative producer who works along people in their projects. Weather is engaging with disabled artists, migrants, refugees, elder or queer communities. They pay attention at every level of production to invert power structures in the performance arts
Maka has worked with key disabled companies like Oily Cart, Candoco Dance Company Access All Areas or We are Unlimited. Together they have developed inclusive processes, creative access support, accessible policy in disabled leadership and more.
In 2023 they took an artist residency at Lithuanian Creative Center Youth Pragiedruliai, running workshops and community arts sessions designed to make people reflect on their environment and senses.
Maka represents Chilean public performance arts company Paisaje Público locally and internationally with collaborators such as European network Circostrada, FiraTàrrega (Spain) and SPOT (Lithuania).
Maka speaks English, Spanish and Chilean Sign Language.
